The newly formed Chesterfield Wildlife Trust local group are hosting a guided nature walk around Carr Vale Nature Reserve on Tuesday 30th June at 7 pm. The meeting point is the County Council’s Stockley Trail Car Park on the small business park accessed from the roundabout on the A632 at the bottom of Bolsover Hill. Grid Reference: 463 707

Join us for a night of drinking and dancing in Chesterfield on Saturday 18th April. For those who can last the distance, we will probably end the night in Mojo’s. There is a walk the next day so you are advised not to get too drunk

Meet at the Rutland Arms Pub at 8.00pm.

This atmospheric beer festival has the three essential elements for an unforgettable experience, with over 120 ales to choose from, as well as ciders, fruit wines and continental bottled beers and good food. Live entertainment in the evenings. There will also be steam and diesel locomotives on display with trains running and offering free rides.

CAMRA Members will receive a free half pint on production of their CAMRA Membership Card.

Open from 12 noon to 11 pm – last admittance 10.30 pm

Held at Barrow Hill Roundhouse Railway Centre, Campbell Drive, Barrow Hill.

Admission by Ticket – £5.00 in advance from the Chesterfield Tourist Information Centre, (£6.00 on the gate).

This walk will start from the Blue Stoops Pub on the Matlock Road, Walton going through Walton woods. It will be approximately 4- 5 miles and will start at 7 pm.
