Saturday 21st March – Visit to Chestnut Centre wildlife park.
Chestnut Centre is a conservation and wildlife park in the Peak District, set in 50 acres of landscaped grounds and is home to Europe’s largest gathering of otters, 16 species of owls and other indigenous wildlife all in their natural surroundings including, buzzards, pine martens, polecats, foxes, Scottish wildcats and deer. The park also cares for orphaned or injured otters.
There is ample free parking, a wildlife souvenir shop, and a restaurant with a range of hot and cold food – including speciality cream teas.
Tickets are £6.50 each, but there’s a possibility we may get a group discount.

Meet 10:00 Saturday 21st March half way along Piccadilly Road, Chesterfield for car sharing (aim for where a new house is being built). Or meet at the Chestnut Centre at 10:45 (just off the A625 east of Chapel-en-le-Frith from the A6).
