Route details: Stanage Edge – Moscar – Wyoming Brook – Redmires – Stanage
Start point: Stanage Car Park (SK227843)
(NB: there are 2 car parks marked on map below Stanage Edge – meet at the westerly one at cattle grid / spot height 326m)
Distance: Approx. 10-12 miles (depending upon conditions)
Difficulty: 3 to 4: mainly moorland paths – some likely to be boggy!

Route: Surprise View, Padley Gorge, Grindleford, Froggatt, White Edge, Longshaw, Upper Burbage, Carl Wark, Surprise View.
Distance: 11 miles
Difficulty: Moderate

We have booked a few places at Hawes YHA for nights of the 26th – 28th March.
Weekend will consist of a walk approx 12 miles on Saturday ( hopefully using the Herriot Way from Keld depending on bus times) and a short walk on Sunday – there is an option of the Wallace and Gromit Cheese factory visit for “cheese” fans
Hawes is a busy town in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales – surrounded by open moor land and sheep.
Cost £35 including breakfast – pack lunch and evening meal at your own cost.
Please contact Rachel Burnett by end Jan if you want to go with a deposit of £20 – full payment required by end of February.
