Christmas Weekend December 2008
Yorkshire Dales – Good Weekend of festive cheer and oh yes, some walking too. Unfortunately we were too near the pub ( Street Head Inn – great pie and pea’s). The weather was also kind to us with wet snow – not dry fluffy snow but wet snow that just slushed about. Our Christmas meal this year wasn’t the usually Turkey, Nigella Goose Fat Roasties and Jamie’s Red Cabbage glazed with stuff but a hearty beef stew with allsorts in.
– The feast !!
