Walk Details: Elmton – Creswell Crags – Holbeck – Poulter Country Park – Whaley – Elmton
The walk goes through the Creswell Crags gorge and with a circuit of the lake.
Start Point: Elm Tree public house at Elmton (Postcode S80 4LS)
Grid Ref: 503 735 on the OS explorer map 270 Sherwood Forest
Distance: 10 miles
Difficulty: Topography is relatively flat – no hills!

Meet at the front of Chesterfield Town Hall at 09.20 am for car sharing or 10.15 am at the start point.

Please note you should wear suitable footwear ( preferably with ankle support), suitable clothing for the time of year ( no jeans) and take waterproofs, food and water and either additional clothing for winter walks / poor weather and sun cream and extra water for summer walks. The walk leader can refuse anyone who they do not feel is able or prepared for the walk.
